In it’s true definition, CrossFit is “CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity.” But, in it’s practical, everyday life application definition, CrossFit is an effective way to get fit.
Anyone can do it, but that doesn’t mean its for everyone. It is a fitness program that combines a wide variety of functional movements into a timed or scored workout. We do pull-ups, squats, push-ups, weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing, and a host of other movements. Always varied, always changing, always producing results. Kids, police officers, firefighters, soccer moms, Navy SEALS, and grandmas all do CrossFit. In fact, hundreds of thousands worldwide have followed these workouts and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes. The stimulus that we provide is by design, with constantly varied functional movements, and performed at a high intensity. Our specialty is not specializing and our goal is constant and consistent progress. Our Tribe is welcoming, overflowing with camaraderie and by far the best group of people you would want around if you are seeking maximal health and fitness.
